In our case, we are Inter-Connected with CenturyLink. We typically do what your talking about when we are in the process of converting a Centurylink customer over to our service. In the last year Centurylink finally provided us with a web based Customer Service Record(CSR) system that give us access to the data your referring to. From there we plug the customer's info into Centurylink's other web based LSR system to submit our LNP requests. I hope this helps. Either a 3rd party or directly with Neustar. Once you have access to a "system you can pull information on a specific TN as to what SPID they belong to. I have a client that is just getting into porting and he asked me how to go about gathering the information needed to port a number to them. I have the basic concept of it but haven't really got involved in doing it so I'm not sure how most CLECs gather the information they need to port a number to themselves. I know the LECs LSR system usually has a lot of information about existing services so I told him to look there, but what do most of you that actually do porting use to pull the information you need on the service provider that you want to port away from?
