Reporting Fraud

SIP HD Peering with Wireless Carriers

As you know most all the wireless cellular carriers are deploying HD voice with VoLTE. Most of these carriers, like Verizon Wireless, have a wholesale wireline division that sells wholesale SIP minutes. Are these carriers going to enable HD G722 SIP peering to their wireless counterparts networks? That way an office worker, talking on a HD capable handset, like a Polycom, could talk in HD to a wireless cell phone user with a HD capable VoLTE smartphone. What is needed to make this happen? Are any of the big 4 carriers already doing this?

Where is a good place to look to see who can port a 217/234 number for us and provide that call to us via SIP? Can anyone on this list provide that service? That is out of our exchange and we have a customer asking if we can provide SIP trunks for them. What I'd like is the end user customer to deal with us, we have another company port the number, SIP us the calls where we'll take care of it from there. Also, we'd like to be able to terminate calls to those areas free of charge, but that isn't a necessity. We have two other exchanges in the same rate center that I need to look at as well. Verizon Wireless

Any Verizon wireless folks in the group? We are having issues with no ringback in the 828 area code with calls terminating to Verizon cellphones. We are reporting through our terminating carriers but that might never get to Verizon engineers. Thanks David

CABS processing / billing

I?m looking for a company that can help process my CABS. Eat up Verizon and switch CDRs then generate invoices to carriers. I was using Mid American Computing Corp to handle my CABS and customer invoicing. I just switched all customer invoicing over to H2O and MACC doesn?t make sense for just CABS invoicing. Mexico Orig and Term

Hello all, I need to provide orig and term in Mexico city. i can do orig no problem through the usual suspects, VI, DIDWW, VOX, but whats the best way to do term? we're not an "international carrier" and this is a very specific case for an enterprise customer. Has anyone deployed AT&T OfficeDirect with a IP PBX solution http://www.business.att.com/content/productbrochures/Office-Direct.pdf ? Seem like an interesting solution, but not sure how well it works or what supports this solution. http://www.tango-networks.com/ seems to have an interesting product that integrates with this solution. Has anyone used Tango? Looks like the have Sprint and T-Mobile integration too.

Lync, VPN and DNS?

We have a corporate Lync environment with a large # of users hitting it via their VPN tunnels. We've set up routing on the VPN client side to allow VOIP traffic to be routed over the public network rather than through the tunnel -- if we can just get the DNS lookups to return the public IP's instead of the internal IP's. We run BIND and I'm struggling to see a solution short of creating a special view or separate BIND server just for VPN clients in which I need to create many zone files to override the relevant Lync DNS records (one zone per record since unfortunately all of our Lync-related records live within our primary domain). Seems ugly and error prone. Maybe BIND's RPZ could help? Or maybe there's some simpler solution I'm missing. We also have F5 w/ GTM -- maybe some magic could be done there. Any thoughts/advice? Ray

We have had fraud to international premium destinations which we are restricting based on calling profiles and originating source IPs; but neither is truly scalable.
