I've developed a few prototype applications using VXML/CCXML. It works pretty solid however some of the missing functionality is a bit disappointing such as lack of early media support and lack of being able to process digits via SIP INFO (although RFC 2833 works just fine). Early media is a big one as it is really useful for certain applications that require playing announcements before or without answering a call. Communicating with external web servers is fairly straight forward in VXML although I haven't played around with HTTP POST'ing in CCXML where the MS actually acts as an HTTP server to process asynchronous responses in the form of subsequent HTTP POSTs. Hi David,
We use the BroadWorks CCXML/VoiceXML functionality albeit in a fairly limited manner.
Our primary application exists to 'deal with' some lack of functionality within the built in Voice Mail service provided within the platform, nothing fancy like enhancing it to make it talk or attempt to understand what people are saying.
Have found the platform to pretty much 'just work', although troubleshooting can be somewhat chaotic, a unique combination of 'too much' and 'not enough' info sometimes - but it certainly hasn't been the most unpleasant experience.
So I'll go with 'use it', but I can't decide where 'it does the job, more or less' lives between 'love it' or 'hate it'.
Cheers, Andrew

Hey groupers,
The Broadworks CCXML and VoiceXML functions...
Use 'em?
