Level 3 was $100 an order, no matter how many numbers for port in. Port out or in was limited by trunk groups, made it very hard to port in or out. Porting out was free. On Aug 24, 2016 6:50 AM, "CCI Michael Palmer" < mpalmer at comediacommunications.com> wrote:
I've had $8-10 port in fees before with a major national carrier, they are always willing to work, I just ported 4500 numbers at $0. When I first was with them, I brought in about 2000 at $2 a pop. But in between those times I paid $8-10.

Im trying to negotiate a new orig carrier onboard and they have a 10 dollar port out fee. This would be a pretty staggering figure if I had to port out my TN's due to quality or similar issues.
I'm not naming names, thats not cool but at the same time before I sign anything it looks like I'm seeing a lot of 1 - 3 dollar port out fees on websites
I really want to get this number pushed down but don't want to be unreasonable, I just can't sign something where a port out fee is that high.
Whats the norm out there?
