You can connect an Adtran 908e to a PRI. I have several configured for PRI. On Thu, Sep 17, 2009 at 12:43 PM, Jonathan Thurman <jonathan at thurmantech.com

the patton smartnode series are my favorites. fantastic debugging via cli, on par with and often surpassing ios (i was able to get my first few units fully working basically a few hours after unpack thanks to the debug). cli itself has a few oddities but i find it pleasant to use overall. support team is small but very helpful and responsive.
Looks like an interesting product line, but I didn't see any mix of digital and analog. What I really need is one PRI, and a couple of FXS ports, and at least one FXO port.
adtran i think unabashedly strives to make their cli as much like ios as possible. if you're comfortable with cisco gear, then you should have no trouble configuring adtran. there is a web gui also that compares very favorably to the competition's (helpful when you have low-skill support staff logging into on the devices).
The 908e looks promising. I really like that you can play with the GUI / CLI BEFORE you buy one. Just have to register on the Adtran website and go to http://www.adtran.com/vlab I wish more vendors had that.
Does anyone know if you can connect one of the T1 ports on a 908e to a PSTN PRI? The documentation is not clear and mainly talks about customer facing PBX connections and data termination. I have a call into pre-sales, but nothing back yet...
the cli on the audiocodes gear is kind of amazing, it seems like a throwaway project from someone's college operating systems course.
LOL, Ummm... Actually I don't remember any of my classmates having THAT bad of an interface when I was taking Operating Systems...
