yes, ipv6 is real and available, even from u.s. isps (who are about a decade behind most european providers). comcast is also rolling it out to cable subscribers in certain markets. google is available over v6, yahoo should have some of their stuff on v6 too. sadly voice softswitch vendors are lagging way behind in ipv6 (some are barely up to 1990s technologies/standards in ipv4, so i'm not terribly surprised). a lot of "enterprise" cisco kit is barely v6 capable as well... so in terms of viability of using v6 for voip interconnection, it will be a few years /joshua -- A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. - Douglas Adams -
