
It *really*, *really* depends on what you want to *do* with it. As others have pointed out, there are many respects in which the OpenSER family of proxy stacks can perform some common functions of an SBC. There are also many respects in which they absolutely cannot, because at the end of the day they are proxies with limited UAS functionality, not fat, opaque B2BUAs loaded with features and ASIC-assisted media relay functionality, etc. So, I encourage you to ask the following question instead: Here's what I need an SBC for: * A * B * C Are there any open-source options?
