
How often does the issue occur ? I will confirm the switch model. The switch seemed really bogged down and slow in responding to commands on the login session and once we rebooted it, the issue cleared away. Have you seen issues with Cisco Catalyst Switch in the IBM Blade Center that causes all the other Cards in the Blade Center to be partially responsive. All the Servers were responding to pings 50% of the time with some pings getting back invalid responses like the one below:
I'm not familiar with the IBM, but use a Dell blade system with Cisco Catalyst 5316M switches in it, and have seen a similar issue.
