Depending on the equipment, that?s technically possible. But I would have no idea if their equipment can do that. =) Frank From: Dawson, Robert [mailto:robert.dawson at mindshift.com] Sent: Monday, July 26, 2010 5:22 PM To: frnkblk at iname.com; voiceops at voiceops.org Subject: Re: Passing non-DID/non-BTN CID info on Verizon No, we would be looking to send the POTS line number as CID over the PRI. _____ From: Frank Bulk - iName.com <frnkblk at iname.com> To: Dawson, Robert; voiceops at voiceops.org <voiceops at voiceops.org> Sent: Mon Jul 26 18:19:30 2010 Subject: RE: Passing non-DID/non-BTN CID info on Verizon To clarify: are you looking to spoof CID on outbound calls from a POTS line? We have a customer with around 30 sites in NY ? the smaller sites all have POTS lines and failover to a larger regional site with PRI. We are interested in being able to pass the correct CID for the smaller sites when this happens but Verizon is saying it just can?t be done. Anyone doing it currently? Thanks, Rob
