I was looking at a variation of your idea. http://adtran.com/web/page/portal/Adtran/product/1189608G1 The MX408e. 8 DS1 circuit emulated T1 interfaces 4 10/100 ports 1 SFP port for uplink to us. And can work in a p2p or point to multipoint configuration. NEBS complaint for CO installation. I have so many TA6xx boxes laying around it is pathetic so there are my POTS. It just seems QoS might be an issue as I would be relying on the box to prioritize the emulated T1s and I am unclear how well it does it. TA90Xe boxes I like and trust. Plus it is a lot more complicated and expensive. I would have to buy 3 to start. One for the CO, one for the customer, and a spare. My PRI would still be TDM based, the POTS would be TDM based from GR303, etc... Your idea is nicer. Especially if I do not have to buy new cards for a TA5000 or what not to get it working temp with a SFP like this? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=... matt at g4.net On Tue, 28 Jan 2014, Paul Timmins wrote:

The Total Access 372 provides eight (8) POTS, four (4) DS1 circuit emulated T1 interfaces, dual (2) Gigabit Ethernet Optical Small Business Unit(SBU) ONT

I was looking at Adtran's website at the TA90Xe boxes because I swore they made a model with a SFP port but I cannot seem to find one. I am waiting for my Adtran SE to call back so I thought I would email the list and see what everyone else is using in this situation.
We run fiber directly to the customer premise. The customer wants a PRI, 6 POTS, and 10-20 Mb/s internet.
I want QoS on the upstream to be solid, I would prefer a device which can terminate the fiber directly, and run all the services from the same device.
If my memory was incorrect and the TA90Xe does not offer a SFP port should I just stick a media converter in front of it or does anyone else have some gear to recommend?
Thanks for any tips,
