the patton smartnode series are my favorites. fantastic debugging via cli, on par with and often surpassing ios (i was able to get my first few units fully working basically a few hours after unpack thanks to the debug). cli itself has a few oddities but i find it pleasant to use overall. support team is small but very helpful and responsive. adtran i think unabashedly strives to make their cli as much like ios as possible. if you're comfortable with cisco gear, then you should have no trouble configuring adtran. there is a web gui also that compares very favorably to the competition's (helpful when you have low-skill support staff logging into on the devices). the cli on the audiocodes gear is kind of amazing, it seems like a throwaway project from someone's college operating systems course. milosz
