I know VoIP very well, so I hope I can help you out. The first thing I would try is to set the forward on the phone without a 9 in front of the destination number. It would also be nice to know what Model of Cisco is being used. You could also try running a debug on the 2800 VGW to see if the call is even getting there. Let me know if you need any information on which debugs to use. John Sleen Manager Service Delivery and Engineering On Thu, Aug 20, 2009 at 11:24 AM, <Rod.Dossouvi.CTR at dot.gov> wrote:
I don?t know a whole lot about VoIP yet and I didn?t configure this particular site so I need to gather all the information. I know they are using Cisco IP Phone. They are are using CUE integrated into a 2800; PRI circuit to AT&T. I will get more details soon.

What type of IP Phone? Make/Model? Do you have any problems when making outbound calls from that phone directly? What type of server are you using for call control; Broadsoft, Call Manager?
Have you tried to forward without adding the 9 in front of the number?

Are you forwarding from a PBX, IP Phone, some other call control platform?

user is trying to have calls forwarded to her cell phone. When enters: 9-xxx-xxxx, local callers get forwarded fine, but long distance callers get an error. Alternatively, when user enters: 9-1-615-xxx-xxxx, long distance callers can now get through, but local callers get the same error. Any input? Thank you.
