Max, You could look at Adtran Netvantas. We are starting to deploy these and many have add in cards (8x T1s per card). **We have not used them to turn up PRIs yet, still using the TA900 series. We are in the process of vetting and deploying the Netvantas (8044Ms in particular) for internet and will be turning voice up on them after.** We are home running the T1s (Pseudowire) back to an OptiPlex (6100 MX) and that is using physical OC/DS (3 or 12) back to our phone switch (the physical connection was not configured by me so I am not up to speed on it yet). I'm assuming that the Adtran TA900 has a high precision clock. Do they

It has an internal oscillator for T1 clock, but not of BITS type accuracy. You'll get slips if you have a BITS-timed T1 connected with the Adtran set to internal clock. Of course you can set it to synchronize from line. We've never had any problems driving a stand-alone PBX from its internal clock. I haven't evaluated the precision of its time-of-day clock. It supports NTP so this hasn't been an issue. Maximum number of PRIs supported is two on the -e models, even though they have four T1 interfaces, only two of them support TDM voice. The other two (or all four if you want) can be used for data as PPP, HDLC, or frame-relay. -- Jay Hennigan - CCIE #7880 - Network Engineering - jay at impulse.net Impulse Internet Service - http://www.impulse.net/ Your local telephone and internet company - 805 884-6323 - WB6RDV _______________________________________________ VoiceOps mailing list VoiceOps at voiceops.org https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/voiceops _______________________________________________ VoiceOps mailing list VoiceOps at voiceops.org https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/voiceops
