Thank you for all the feedback. I'm still doing some research and will be setting up a test lab for this. I think one of our providers is using faxback with those audiocodes, it works well but we do get complaints when faxes that actually fail are still marked as being sent successfully via the fax machine, I'll have to further test this. Hi Jerry, no offense but we are not looking to resell another company's solution, we've had major issues in the past and my boss is fed up, insisting we bring this in house. FusionPBX seems like a good solution my only concern is support, can anybody chime in on their support experience? Alex - how do you manage small doctors offices that insist on fax? They send hundreds of faxes a day, is there a better way (that is still economical)? -Jamie On Mon, Apr 20, 2020 at 7:35 PM Jerry Salvi <jsalvi at arena1.com> wrote:

?Yeah, it's pretty sad we're repeating any aspect of this conversation three years later.
I have for years refused to deal with anything fax-related and my business hasn't suffered for it all.

Many customers still send faxes. I know that this angers some people and they don't see the point. It does take 30 seconds to train someone on how to send a fax and it takes a lot longer to teach someone who is not computer savvy to operate a scanner, find the attachment and sent it via email. I know it is sad in 2020 that there are people that cannot navigate a file system. It is a reality in many lines of business.
If it makes you feel better to vent about fax should be dead feel free. I agree that it should be dead too but understand that there are a lot of people who are not ready to adopt technology.

I don't think anyone was complaining about faxes in this thread.
