I still am unsure of what the third file is, the critical one that converts from rate center to lata?
You guys do have a point. I shouldn't have been so sanctimonious. The old NANPA sheet I have had a LATA column in it; at some point, they must have stopped providing it. You can't resolve a rate center to a LATA per se, but you can resolve an NPA to a LATA pretty easily. However, that won't help you avoid edge cases like LATAs that flow across state borders into NPAs that are otherwise 99% in some other LATA -- those do happen. For that, you'd need the LERG and/or pooling data. -- Alex Balashov - Principal Evariste Systems LLC 1170 Peachtree Street 12th Floor, Suite 1200 Atlanta, GA 30309 Tel: +1-678-954-0670 Fax: +1-404-961-1892 Web: http://www.evaristesys.com/
