For the folks running Broadworks, are you using the native conference application or a third party solution? If third party, hosted or in-house. What drove your decision? Thanks, Rob

We use the native Broadsoft conferencing, which is really just a rebranded Alcatel bridge. It's not pretty, the filesharing is pathetic (not a single customer using it), and it runs an instance of Windows on top of Linux and, well, Windows is always problematic. That said, we chose to use the native conferencing for the simplicity of user management (we write our own user portal) and integration. That said, in Broadworks R17sp3, they move away from the Alcatel bridge (EOL 12/31/2012, I believe) and have introduced it as just another service on the media server which, to me, is a home run as far as the audio conferencing goes (assuming it is stable). Unfortunately, it is still de-coupled from video/desktop sharing, although they now offer that as a part of the BroadCloud product -- would be nice to see them unify the video and audio conferencing at some point.
