interconnect directly with a PSAP?
I have been out of the game for about 20 years and now I am back. I have a lot to catch up on but I'm hoping this listserv can help me out. I have a few questions * Is it possible to interconnect directly with a PSAP? * Is a CLEC license/agreement still required? * Is this interconnection still only offered via TDM or is IP/SIP an option? You'll It'll likely vary state-by-state. Here in Illinois, we're migrating from a traditional model to an NG911 platform by INDigital. Is the interconnection TDM or IP? I did not see much on their site. INDigital's system they built with Penninsula FiberNet in Michigan is SIP, with private ethernet connectivity to PFN's switches (not public IP networks).
