i have a few Customers using Digium Servers we noticed on our installations when we upgraded their server to 7.2 and above the client starts reporting DTMF issues (DTMF is not recognized by the system) i have time troubleshooting this with Digium and with Adtran, they both point fingers at each other this issue only starts once upgrading the digium server to the new updates of 7.2 and above (even on the latest version 7.6.2) has anyone else experienced the same - what was the fix? I was told Asterisk updated the module that's responsible for DTMF ? and maybe that's where the issue is ? -- Izzy Goldstein Chief Technology Officer Main: (212) 477-1000 x 2085 <(212)%20477-1000> Direct: (929) 477-2085 Website: www.telego.com <http://www.telego.net/> <http://www.telego.com/> Confidentiality Notice: This e-mail may contain confidential and/or privileged information. Izzy, Looking at the changelogs for Digium there isn't anything obvious, but the changelog for the Asterisk project does suggest a change in the default minimum duration setting for DTMF detection in recent releases ( https://github.com/asterisk/asterisk/blob/master/CHANGES). I would suggest configuring the AdTran's dtmf-relay min-duration higher, since the Asterisk min duration default can range between 80 and 100 depending on release, it seems to me that changing the AdTran's min-duration setting to 120 should do the trick, if indeed that's what you are running into.
