All- I wanted to ping the group and see what you all use to generate voice recordings for customer auto attendants, greetings and announcements. We have been lucky in that we had a professional voice on our staff and he loved doing them, but he has since moved on and we're looking to see what's out there. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Brian

I usually look for voice actors on Fiverr.com Inexpensive and a variety of different actors, especially when you are looking for certain regional accents or different languages. We use Alison Smith, since she's the voice of Asterisk and that's what we use. So all the voices match. She's also easy to work with and fast. On Mon, May 15, 2017 at 11:36 AM, Brian Murray <bmurray at transbeam.com> wrote:

True story: I once got Allison to record for me the message, "The rest of the year has been cancelled due to lack of interest. Goodbye!" Then I threw it up as our main IVR (in the middle of spring, not the last few days of December) as a joke and forgot it was still up. Weeks later someone said something about it. -- Alex -- Principal, Evariste Systems LLC (www.evaristesys.com) Sent from my Google Nexus.

I have to say that the best Alison recordings were done for the Asterisk Roomba. "Press 1 to start sucking!" On Mon, May 15, 2017 at 11:52 AM, Alex Balashov <abalashov at evaristesys.com> wrote:

We use Greg Littlefield, a former employee at $DAYJOB. http://www.greglittlefield.com Good guy to work with, and he can do funny voices if needed. Also has a killer record collection. ?Chris
