We have been using dnsmadeeasy and it's been great. Not sure if they offer a migration tool. On Tue, May 23, 2023 at 4:04?PM Izzy Goldstein - TeleGo via VoiceOps < voiceops at voiceops.org> wrote:

No special migration tools, though they can import a bind zone file if Oracle will export it, and some (paid) custom import options but I've had a good relationship with https://www.cloudns.net/aff/id/87223/ for DNS. I don't personally use dynamic dns much but it's one of their features. I've used them since 2016 for hosting a few zones as a master dns server and more zones where they are slaved to a hidden master server I run and they have been very affordable and reliable and fairly high performance in my experience. Zone updates take a minute or two to propagate. They offer good info on propagation status, and for me that's plenty fast for changes to go out, especially given just how many servers it's pushing the record out to, but I know that in some special cases that may not be quite fast enough. When I saw your Dynamic DNS email I had to double check because mine just renewed for another year. It seems you are talking about Dyn Managed DNS, right? This is where I login and it seems you can still buy the service or start a trial, https://account.dyn.com/, which is for Dynamic DNS. I did find this page, which lists Dyn Managed DNS along with some other services. https://www.oracle.com/corporate/acquisitions/dyn/technologies/enterprise-cu... Wherever possible, we use RFC 2136, to the primary authoritative name server. pfSense firewalls, for example, support RFC 2136 for Dynamic DNS (tracking the WAN IP when DHCP changes it) and for Acme Certificates (demonstrate control of the FQDN). RFC 2136 is also a nice method for internal devices to get Let's Encrypt certs. But you're not going to find RFC 2136 support very common. You probably won't find it on many NVR units or cheap Netgear routers.

I came across this a while back - Automating with PowerShell: an Azure DynDNS replacement. (cyberdrain.com)<https://www.cyberdrain.com/automating-with-powershell-an-azure-dyndns-replac...> The only thing I am looking to change is to allow individual accounts, so that we can use a credential per client. This would allow us to select the DynDNS that?s built into a lot of devices? Not an urgent project, but may need to look into this again sooner rather than later? We did receive another email from Oracle yesterday: Dear Customer, You are receiving this communication because our records indicate that you are a customer of our Dyn Standard DNS service. The purpose of this communication is to confirm to you that the Dyn Standard DNSservice is not currently scheduled for end of life (EOL), notwithstanding any prior announcements or communications you may have seen or received. It is our top priority to ensure that you have an exceptional experience on our platform, and we look forward to continuing to support your use of the Dyn Standard DNSservice. We want to thank you for staying with us. No additional action is required on your part to continue to use your existing Dyn Standard DNS services. By continuing to use the Dyn Standard DNS services, you agree that you remain subject to the terms of your existing agreement with Oracle (as successor to Dyn) for those services. Unless you have previously requested to cancel your Dyn Standard DNS services, these services will continue to be governed by such agreement and, if your services are set to automatic renew, will renew automatically at your next scheduled renewal date. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please note, this communication does not pertain to the following legacy Dyn products which remain scheduled for EOL as previously announced: Managed DNS, Email Delivery, Managed DNS Express, Secondary DNS, and Email Express.
