Porting in cell numbers without canceling service

We have a new customer who needs to port some Verizon wireless numbers to us, but not cancel the cell contract. They want to keep it and just have a new number on the cell phones. Any tips on accomplishing this? I haven't asked them to call Verizon yet, figured I'd see if someone here has experience doing it.

Carlos, I've done it before, with Level3, you have to submit a 2nd form for account PIN. The user will have to call after the port and they will issue a new number to him, they may or may not charge a reactivation fee.
