Who provides DID's that are SMS AND MMS enabled? What is the standard protocol for receiving and sending MMS messages? I know for SMS the protocol is SMPP. It looks like bandwidth.com lists MMS on their website, but I am not sure if that is available yet.

Bandwidth Voip innovations onvoy voxox to name a few Thanks, Shripal

Voxox does offer wholesale voice & SMS, but not MMS yet. I encourage any interested parties to contact our sales team so they can understand the demand and requirements from potential customers. On Nov 24, 2015 11:42 AM, "Colton Conor" <colton.conor at gmail.com> wrote:

Hi Conor, aql provide them in the UK - SMS enabled (SMPP) but not MMS enabled (Voice is SIP delivery) - we have 12.5 million numbers in the +441 and +442 ranges which are enabled. Wholesale, provision by API... if you need other countries - have a chat with Voxbone -they may have some. cheers Adam

If you're operating at relatively low scale, like I am, consider Twilio. I'm very happy using them for a variety of projects. They support MMS (and of course SMS) wherever possible, and they document everything very clearly along the way. What about any of the big 4 cellular carriers? Does AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, or T-Mobile's wholesale division sell origination services delivered though SIP, and MMS/SMS enabled numbers? On Tue, Nov 24, 2015 at 9:30 AM, Colton Conor <colton.conor at gmail.com> wrote:

Just a sidenote. The original poster asked what the protocol is called for MMS. For person to person MMS, it is the MM4 protocol. For application to person, it is the MM7 protocol. In actuality it is just SMTP Mail. The protocol comes into play with message size, encoding, attachment size, etc. ~Jared Geiger On Tue, Nov 24, 2015 at 2:25 PM, Shripal Daphtary <shripald at gmail.com> wrote:
