Looking for an IPTV source.

Howdie, I know this is the VOICE list but I'm hoping someone here has some contacts. I'm looking for a IPTV wholesaler that I can partner with to deliver IPTV services to FTTH customers. It will be something pretty small to start. Only a couple hundred houses past. I don't want to invest in a head-end. Just pick up some bandwidth and aim the set top boxes to the providers head-end. I can get a GigE into Boston pretty easily for a dedicated trunk. Please forward any contact info you may have Thanks -Matt -- Matthew S. Crocker President Crocker Communications, Inc. I can't speak to what terrestrial options you have, but the only satellite-based IPTV wholesaler left (that I'm aware of) is Avail-TVN (http://www.telecompetitor.com/avail-tvn-aggressively-pursues-vip-tv-custome rs/). We have been looking for a similar type of solution does not seem to be anything out there that doesn't require upfront infrastructure. I know motorola has a hosted ms media room solution for your middle ware but you still have to bring your feeds in. I think a big issue with a wholesaler would be the locals, which would require for you to pull in the feeds and encode them, requiring fairly large up front cost depending on how many locals are in your area. A good option might be directv mfh3, but I hear they have locked up the market where you need to be running alcatel/lucent access equipment, and you can not pass public right of ways. If someone else has some suggestions I'd love to hear them. Carlos Alcantar Race Communications / Race Team Member 101 Haskins Way, So. Moto has actually withdrawn from the Microsoft Mediaroom hosting market. For someone who wants to keep the costs low, picking up most of them via satellite and encoding the locals should do the trick. For a consolidated feed you may want to look at Avail. kent Kent Claussen Sr Partner CCS Technology Group LLC. On 1/26/2012 4:53 PM, Carlos Alcantar wrote:
