[outages] VoIP - complete outage at DASH Carrier Services

We've been looking at the possibility of using DASH for some of our 911 Trunking -- is this a common problem? Has it been resolved yet? We received notice at 7:20PM things were back in order: -------------- *Outage Notification Update:* Please be advised that calls are now routing successfully. dash has determined the outage is related to a SBC issue and is continuing to work with our vendor to determine root cause. A RFO will be issued as soon as root cause is determined. If you have any questions regarding your services, please do not hesitate to email our Support group at xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------- Dash so far has been very informative for any kind of operational issue with alerts coming through of any impending changes. I know when we deal with them, they are very responsive. -- =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ J. We're considering them as well for 9-1-1 as well as some origination and termination. I understand it's resolved but would also be interested in whether it is common and general opinion. We've used DASH for org/term and e911 for some time... we've never seen anything like this happen before... we have been very happy with their service and support. I'm the exact opposite, I've had issues with their billing/invoices that led to our account getting shut off on a Friday. Support ignored me until Monday when the 'Accounting' department came back in. Their sales & support offered no escalation procedures. They were sending invoices to the wrong address. They sent a certified letter that was returned yet they still shut our account off. A phone call or e-mail would have resolved it all but that never happened. We didn't know anything was wrong until our inbound started failing at 5PM on a Friday. Luckily we only had a couple numbers ported over so it didn't affect many customers. I'm not a happy DashCS customer ----- Original Message -----
