Hi I have a SONUS GSX9000 chassis.I want to add PSTN connection to this SONUS.I am new to the switch background.Does anyone have the procedure to add a PSTN connection to the SONUS Switch Warm Regards Venugopal G

You can terminate A and F links on some of sonus's CN and CNS cards. For the full set of ss7 functions, you need the SGX box to terminate the SS7 links. David On Thu, Nov 12, 2009 at 4:18 AM, Gopalakrishnaiyer Venugopal-Q16770 <venuiyer at motorola.com> wrote:

Hi David, I have an SGX as well.I wanted to know how the physical connectivity should be between the Asterisk Machine and the GSX.I have one E1 interface card in the Asterisk machine and another 8 port RJ11 card for the PSTN connections.Asterisk will be used as a PBX. I still do not understand why you wouldn't just use SIP. Gopalakrishnaiyer Venugopal-Q16770 wrote:
