iNum and UN numbers via ex Voxbone now Bandwidth

I believe the iNum project was shutdown by Voxbone before Bandwidth bought them, but I didn't see anything about the UN +888 country code numbers that Voxbone hosted also. They used to be reachable via ENUM but I'm not seeing records for them anymore. Does the UN range exist anymore? I do see the destination listed in some vendor rate sheets with varying pricing from normal to astronomical. The test numbers I have don't complete. FWIW I also see the iNum range +8835100 in rate sheets. ~Jared

having a +883.5100 number via voip.ms, i thought i'd check on its usefullness. things do not look good: a dig @pri.authdns.ripe.net. returns: ;; AUTHORITY SECTION: 0.0.1.5.3.8.8.e164.arpa. 86400 IN NS ns1.inum.net. 0.0.1.5.3.8.8.e164.arpa. 86400 IN NS ns2.inum.net. but (at least a subset of) the secondaries for e164.arpa. fail to retrn those. nut neither of those two respond. (and i see that both point to the same ip [216.120.147.200].) i've no idea about +888. -JimC -- James Cloos <cloos at jhcloos.com> OpenPGP: 0x997A9F17ED7DAEA6

Looks just as bad: ; AUTHORITY SECTION: 8.8.8.e164.arpa. 86400 IN NS ns1.inum.net. 8.8.8.e164.arpa. 86400 IN NS ns2.inum.net.
