Anyone out there know the magic incantation on SONUS boxes to make RFC2833 DTMF signaling work consistently? We've got one vendor using SONUS with this turned on that works flawlessly. For the rest we've had to fall back to in-band DTMF. Far as I can tell, they're all GSX;es. Thanks in advance, Howard Hart Ooma

Here's an asterisk bug I reported regarding it, and the explanation of why it's happening is in there. Don't know if it's of use to you. https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=13265 Howard Hart wrote:

All your other carriers are using SIP and RFC2833? No H.323 to SIP right? Colin On Fri, Aug 7, 2009 at 10:32 AM, Howard Hart <hch at sipster.com> wrote:

It may be a version thing; they've been patching the stuffing out of DTMF on the GSX.
