Recorded sales calls showing the recipient's number as CID
We've got a customer who just started to receive calls to several of their DID numbers where the call shows their own DID as the caller ID. I don't know what they were selling, the trouble ticket doesn't go into detail. It was a recorded call. Anyone else seen this? -- Carlos Alvarez TelEvolve 602-889-3003

Not this specifically but often all 0s or a bogus number. Obviously spoofed CLID. Trivial for the bad guys to do. There's even an app for that... http://calleridfaker.com/ Sending email "from" the victim's address is an old spammer trick to get the victim to open it out of curiosity. Probably similar motivation here.
