Does anyone have recommendations on a SIP Multicast paging device that would connect to a pre-existing paging amplifier.

Hi Robert, We've used the Snom PA1 in this case, works well... can be direct to speaker, or line level to Amplifier. Thanks, *Glenn @VDOTel* On Thu, Mar 23, 2017 at 1:55 PM, Robert Johnson <robert.j at bendtel.com> wrote:

The newer Polycom Phones support multicast paging. It is my understanding that they re-used some of the technology from Spectra link to do this. The Valcom VIP-801a has a special firmware that can receive Polycom?s multicast page and send it to your amplifier. David Ellison is the guy at Valcom that you?ll want to talk to about that firmware. The firmware allows you to configure a VIP-801a to receive multiple Polycom paging groups. If your customer has multiple zones they?ll probably want a separate VIP-801a for each zone. Cyberdata and Algo both make good ones. dw On Thu, Mar 23, 2017 at 4:55 PM, Robert Johnson <robert.j at bendtel.com> wrote:

We?ve had success with the SNOM PA-1, in addition to the Algo.
