Gday folks. Looking for some options for small sized SS7 ITPs. Low speed (ie timeslots in a 2mb circuit) and m3ua -- pretty much like the Cisco 2811 ITP (before it was EOL'd). Need to handle a handful of old TDM signalling links into our M3UA softswitches. Currently I'm running 4 geographically dispersed Cisco 2811 ITPs with about 4 low speed links each -- this works well for us, but interested in anything else out there since the 2811 will soon be end-of-sale. Cheers, Peter

Hi Peter! What about HP IP-STG (OpenCall)? I think it could suit you well. I'm not sure if the price is about the Cisco28xx, but it will definitely offload the TDM ss7 into m3ua for you. Thanks a lot! On Thu, Aug 25, 2011 at 4:19 AM, Peter Childs <PChilds at internode.com.au> wrote:

Might want to check out Squire, not sure if they are "small" enough but they seem to fit into what you are trying to do well: http://www.squire-technologies.co.uk/ No personal experience here either, but I hear good things. -----Original Message----- From: voiceops-bounces at voiceops.org [mailto:voiceops-bounces at voiceops.org] On Behalf Of Peter Childs Sent: Wednesday, August 24, 2011 8:19 PM To: voiceops at voiceops.org Subject: [VoiceOps] Small SS7 STPs Gday folks.
