Wondering if anyone has any experience with an issue we are having. Our area code is 989, and some of our customers are complaining of cell phones that register our incoming calls as IRAN in the caller ID, because they are picking up on our area code as a country code. We are sending these calls through Inteliquent. Any feedback? Collin Rose DayStarr Communications P: (989) 720-1000 F: (989) 720-6060

On the advice of somebody who replied offlist, I have toggled the send E164 fix-bit in the SIP MG model in our switch. I am assuming this will fix it, but am waiting for the customer to advise.... Is it SIP or ISUP? In ISUP you'll want to look at the nature of address indicator, and in SIP you'll want to make sure you're either sending them e.164 formatted numbers or that they have e.164 disabled on their side (which is an option).
Have you called Inteliquent? They've always been really awesome to us.
