i need something that will draw the call flow lets say it will start by a DID, and go thru clauses to check time frames, and now the call ends up an a IVR asking the caller to select their language, and now the call ends up into another IVR asking which department, and based on selection it will route the call to a specific extension or to a Queue etc On Mon, Jul 29, 2019 at 9:43 AM Shripal Daphtary <shripald at gmail.com> wrote:

I don't know of any special purpose software that does this. I just use regular diagramming software. I'm partial to draw.io. On Mon, Jul 29, 2019, 9:47 AM Izzy Goldstein - TeleGo <igoldstein at telego.net> wrote:

If I understood correctly, what Izzy is after is an actual IVR design tool which allows a low-level provisioner/onboarding specialist or a self-service PBX customer to take an IVR from visual concept to implementation in real time. Such a thing would have to integrate with a SIP application server in order to execute the desired call flow, or spit out dial plan syntax for something like Asterisk or Freeswitch. This is analogous to many of the circuit design tools used for SONET, and, I presume, PON and Metro Ethernet type provisioning as part of various large-scale telco and cable OSS/BSSs. You draw the circuit, design it through various network elements, and the system actually goes out and provisions it on the network elements involved. Right? ? Sent from mobile, with due apologies for brevity and errors.

you onto what im looking for, yes but, the integration to the PBX is not needed now, the PBX setup will be done manually by human i started messing with Lucidchart, its not geared towards what im looking for, so hence makes it harder to "draw" out [image: image.png] On Mon, Jul 29, 2019 at 2:49 PM Alex Balashov <abalashov at evaristesys.com> wrote:

Oh. So you just want some generic diagramming software? If you're using macOS, try OmniGraffle: https://www.omnigroup.com/omnigraffle/ No affiliation. Pete

I use Gliffy (a kind of Visio replacement) traditionally, but recently discovered code2flow.com and absolutely love it for quick flowcharts. Could have saved myself hours upon hours in Gliffy. On Tue, Jul 30, 2019 at 08:01:56AM +1200, Pete Mundy wrote:

Sorry, I was unclear, we don't use OmniGraffle for generic everyday call flows. In fact we don't do anything visual and just discuss it with the customer. I realize this doesn't scale and that's what you need to do. We use OmniGraffle for network drawings, conceptual call flows that are highly customized (no templates), and for business processes where we are integrating communications. Everything is a one-off for us. On Tue, Jul 30, 2019 at 7:26 AM Izzy Goldstein - TeleGo < igoldstein at telego.net> wrote:
