Has anyone tested VoxyWatch?

Hi everyone, We are currently testing VoxyWatch in a lab environment and would like to know if anyone here has previous experience using or evaluating it. I am particularly interested in feedback regarding HEP/SIPREC capture, audio reconstruction, resource usage under load, and how it compares in practice to tools like HOMER or VoIPmonitor. If you have worked with it, did you encounter any limitations, installation issues, or operational concerns? Skyetel experiences as a SIP provider?

We are considering moving from a combination of Bandwidth and Commio to them. $1400/mo, 100k minutes, 2k DID, simple stuff. The friction with BW goes up every single day, and is only getting worse. Our contact there is Paul Laregina, who we did business with long ago with another company. At that time, he was straight shooting, delivered 100% as promised. Comments on list or direct are appreciated.

US Porting Out of LUMEN to an MVNO: Problematic

I've just spent the last several days, maybe even a week now, on an issue where multiple end users want to Port a number from LUMEN to an MVNO wireless carrier. I'd love to hear thoughts on this. Short Version: T-Mobile is fake Rejecting Port Out Requests made to LUMEN because LUMEN won't accept an LSR with a DDD they find "too soon," and creates a complete lack of accoutability and logging. Long Version: BACKGROUND * LUMEN made a new Port Out Tool and made everyone move to it in mid-to-late July 2026 * This Tool refuses to accept your LSR / Port Out Request unless you select a valid DDD (Desired Due Date, or Requested FOC). * MVNOs cannot (or might not) see this information prior to submitting the Port Request PROBLEM * MVNO Tello Mobile uses T-Mobile * Tello Mobile sends ALL Port Requests to T-Mobile, with a DDD * T-Mobile attempts to submit an LSR to LUMEN * LUMEN does not offer the DDD selected, but T-Mobile cannot actually submit the LSR to LUMEN, so LUMEN has no record of the attempt * T-Mobile is forced to fake a "Rejection" for the Port Out Request to Tello Mobile. LUMEN didn't reject it, T-Mobile did * Tello Mobile tells the customer that their request was Rejected and to contact the losing carrier * They contact us, we talk to LUMEN, LUMEN has no record of any rejection POTENTIAL FIXES The RIGHT FIX IMHO * LUMEN accepts LSRs even with a DDD they might know they won't allow, but the Rejection then comes *FROM LUMEN* and they have a record of their rejection. Plus it is standardized A Hack to avoid frustration * Tello Mobile sees the rejection for DDD, resubmits immediately with an updated DDD, which T-Mobile seems to helpfully provide DISCUSSION I don't think that a valid LSR should be prevented from being created, as it creates an audit trail, and since I have the relationship with the CLEC holding the DID, I can resolve any issues with them, AND get a clear answer for why an LSR was rejected. By refusing to accept an LSR with a "too soon" DDD, my CLEC has no logging and thus no idea that a Port Request was even submitted, and now a Rejection occurs, but that Rejection was sent by an Entity that I do not have a relationship with, and so I have to rely on the Winning Carrier, and their willingness to communicate with me, to try to get a clear answer. Route issue, Google Voice to Verizon Landlines

Hello everyone, Does anyone have a contact at Google Voice? It seems that calls from Google Voice to Verizon landlines are failing. I’ve verified this with a few Google Voice account owners. As many of you know, a carrier lookup on Google Voice numbers returns Bandwidth. I also tried reproducing the issue on Bandwidth routes, but calls succeeded every time from Bandwidth to Verizon landlines. Thank you, Yitz

When a number is disconnected, it * should * be put in an 'aging' state where it cant be reused for 90 days if its residential, or a year if it's a business. The LEC entity that the number was assigned to * should * have 'snapped' the number back to the original LEC when it disconnected if it wasnt the original block holder. Those are FCC rules, so I would think you have time to get it back. Don't miss today's workshop at the FCC on the migration from SS7/TDM to IP -- https://www.fcc.gov/news-events/events/2026/07/ip-transition-workshop A concept you'll hear is "Agreement-Less" Voice traffic exchange. You won't have to have a signed agreement in place to send SIP to someone else, whereas today you effectively do. But it will be an insider club...so will YOUR company be allowed to send calls at no cost directly to other carriers? Recovering a number?

Hey everyone, I've run into a situation I've never dealt with before, and it's personal... My dear old mother has had a phone number in the 509-427 prefix for about 50 years now. It's survived all the US West, Qwest, Embarq, Century Link, Lumen, whatever changes over the decades...and finalle ended up taking a deal from her ISP (a CLEC) to bundle her phone/internet . This all worked out pretty well until a few year or so when the ISP was sold to new management and service tanked. They've had several multi-day and even a multi-week outage. Fast forward to a month ago, and my mom decided to sign up for Starlink and cancel her old DSL bundle. Being 80 years old, she had no idea her "home phone" was linked to her DSL service....and as luck would have it, the day after she cancelled she ended up having a minor stroke. When I realized her home phone was disconnected, I asked her to call her former ISP and see if they could recover and just port out the number...my intent being to attach it to my existing infrastructure and simply forward calls to her cell phone. Her ISP said "we released the number 2 weeks ago, there's no way to get it back". I know I've seen numbers get recovered before...but since I'm not a CLEC or anything other than just a guy who helps support a handful of VoIP installs, it's beyond me if it's possible or how I could get the number back. Verizon Carrier contact

Does anyone have good contact info for a human at Verizon that can deal with Carrier Interconnects for Tandems? We are an ILEC, with local trunks to the Binghamton Tandem (LATA 138). I don't have any TSC or AN info for those trunks, and VZ repair can't do a thing without them. Calls to Spectrum/Charter (532D I think), are failing at the VZ Tandem to ACB.
