Anyone else having issues with SIP and Comcast Gateways?

Is anyone else getting issues with Comcast gateways like the ones below? http://www.cisco.com/web/consumer/support/modem_DPC3939.html or http://www.netgear.com/service-providers/products/cable/gateways/cg3000dcr.… The symptoms are complete modem crash forcing a reboot after an extension to extension call gets placed. Calls that are placed in bound and out bound do not make the modem crash. There isn?t a way to turn off the SIP ALG on these devices either per Comcast and bridging them and putting our own equipment behind it still causes the issue. We ended up having to replace the modem supplied by Comcast completely and installing a supported device ourselves which worked. Level 3 platforms

Vector is their Sonus platform. Viper is their legacy and doesn' support ELS. IDT US Domestic failing with 503 Service Unavailable

Telepacific issues in So Cal?

We have a customer with an office in Westlake, CA served by Telepacific, NPA-NXX 805-648. This was ported from AT&T to Telepacific back in 2012. When our customer calls they get a no-ring timeout. We are originating the call through SipRoutes, Bandwidth, and PacWest with identical results. Is anyone else seeing similar issues? Signaling hold to the PSTN

Hi, What has been your experience in signaling holds to the PSTN? The more everyone converts to SIP and peers with our carriers, the more stacks we see on the far end. A growing number seem to have trouble accepting any kind of hold SDP signals such as a=inactive/sendonly, quad zeros, etc. Is this vexing you too, or is it just me?
