Possible Windstream - Broadsoft misconfiguration?

Hey all, Anyone on here that's part of Windstream's Broadsoft deployment group? We're running into a problem where it appears there could be a misconfiguration on a switch. In the initial INVITE message we're receiving, the Diversion header contains the To number - and this is causing our Metaswitch some heartburn in some specific cases (not to our customers). Any assist would be greatly appreciated! I did and it's Surgemail. What you need to understand is that voicemail is nothing more than email stored on a mail server. I'd be happy to discuss the finer points with you if you want to PM me. Generalized call failures

Level 3 and 3rd party LIDB providers

We have a fair amount of LI did's with Level3 and have need of updating LIDB information on some of them. We've steered clear of the Level3 ELS package due to the excess cost instead of using Level3 for origination and 3rd parties for CNAM and 911. However, we've run into a brick wall with LIDB. Level3 states that "They are not able to update point codes to provide compatibility with 3rd party LIDB providers (such as OpenCNAM)." Has anyone else run into this before? Broadsofts BLF List URI Implementation is Unique?

I asked this question in 2015, so I am wondering if anyone has an update. Is the the way that Broadsoft implements Busy Lamp Field (BLF) using list URI unique only to Broadsoft, or have any other softswitch providers now implemented this method? With a Broadsoft switch and a Polycom or Yealink phone, all that needs to be done on the phones config is to enter the BLF list URI server address. Then on the Broadsoft server you select the users you want to monitor, and the BLF list instantly updates on the phone. I think this reduces overall signaling too which is a big issue with BLF status updates. There is no rebooting or going into the phones configuration file once the BLF List URI is set. For an example on how easy BLF is setup on Yealink phones with Broadsoft see this http://www.yealink.com/Upload/UCOne/features/Quick_Setup_BLF_List_on_Yealin… Compare this to most other platforms I have seen based on Asterisk and Freeswitch. I think 3CX and Metaswitch are the same. In all these platforms, on the phones confige its self, you have to manually create a key on the phone to monitor a user. That might be done through the provisioning interface itself, but it still static adds a BLF line key to the phones configuration. Any updates to BLFs are usually not dynamic, and adding or removing a BLF requires a reboot to the phone as you have to change the config file. I did a Google search now that I know what I am searching for, and found some freeswitch posts from others asking if Freeswitch supports RFC4662. But no one knows if Freeswitch supports RFC 4662? I guess I could post on the freeswitch list. Greetings all, Here in the state of Florida, Some agencies, Like Florida Highway Patrol have dial-in numbers like "*fhp" (*347), Which can be called anywhere in the state. or at least anywhere in the county. I have a customer (Local sheriff's office) that would like a number like this. Something like "*SCSO" Anyone have any idea how I might go about doing this? I imagine it works similar to 311 (Non-emergency dispatch) in that, Someone carries a local translation that points it to a ten digit number. I service a few agencies that already have this and simply porting the associated ten-digit dial-to number moves their 311 dial-in service. However, I've never gone about actually getting one of these numbers. We're not facilities based, I'm purchasing wholesale SIP from a number of the usual suspects. Verizon origination

Hello, Can anyone with a Verizon origination service do me a favor and check to see if they let you port-in and/or obtain new numbers specifically in FREDERIC, Wisconsin ratecenter. 715-566 appears to be Cellco dba Verizon but I think it may only be accessible to Verizon Wireless operations. https://www.telcodata.us/search-area-code-exchange-by-ratecenter-state?rate… If anyone has any tips to getting DIDs there, I'd love to hear. Can't call 833 numbers from specific rate center via cell phones

I have a new 833 toll free number. Cell phones (both ATT and Verizon) in a specific rate center are not able to call this new number or other 833 numbers. I have contacted my origination provider, ATT wireless, and Verizon wireless, but I am unable to get in contact with the proper people to resolve the issue. Any ideas? Sincerely, Keln Taylor
