Hello, I have an opportunity to deliver FTTH to about 800 homes in local small town. I?m looking for someone to provide TV service to the residents (RF overlay or IPTV). Does anyone know of a white label provider that can deliver service in Massachusetts? I can pick it up in Boston (1 Summer, 230 Congress or 300 Bent). 800 homes is not enough for me to justify building my own head-end, hoping I can wholesale off someone else?s head end. Bizarre Progress -> Answer when call is not yet answered (bandwidth.com issue?)

Calls for my customers work like this: Incoming DID -> Me -> Forward Call Termination One of my customers complained this evening around 7pm EST that a pre-roll message that plays immediately after they answer the call but before the two call legs are connected wasn't being played. When I started to investigate, I saw that the 2nd leg was getting a 183 Session Progress message, and almost immediately after a 200 OK, indicating the call was answered. But the callee hadn't answered yet. And because of that, the pre-roll message was being played, but not to the answering party because THEY hadn't answered yet. I tested the 2nd leg with 3 different termination carriers, all with the same result. In my tests the commonality was that the terminating numbers that saw the immediate Progress -> Answer was that they were both Bandwidth.com numbers. If people have some tests they can do on termination to Bandwidth.com numbers and see if it is reproduceable, I'd appreciate it. CPE side Passive Monitoring

Hi Looking for a cost effective, easily deployed, useful passive monitoring probe to be deployed at the customer prem for voip traffic monitoring. My main objective is to reduce MTTR and provide a clear demarcation service for customers that supplies their own LAN. We use a variety of CPE device (primarily Cisco though) so I will need to find an external hardware probe that caters for all use cases. There seems to be a variety of solutions available so was hoping you could share you experience on some of the solutions that you are using. I really need to understand the extent to which the added visibility optimised your product in terms of better support, fewer truck rolls etc. All of these listed products claims to do just that. Solutions that come to mind includes: Prognosis, Telchemy, Broadsoft PacketSmart, Flukenetworks and Appneta Pathview. I need to evaluate in the lines of : * Effectiveness as a demarcation service. * Easy of deployment (hosted, SaaS model). * Probe and licensing costing. * Support portal granular stats in order to reduce MTTR. T1 Crossover Cable

I'm connecting a Adtran 904 to a Shoretel system for a voice only PRI. Am I correct that a cross-over cable is needed and not a straight thru cable? The IT vendor and I are having a small disagreement. Vitelity Portal and API Down

I noticed that at 7:48am EDT to 7:53am EDT, the Vitelity Portal and API became unavailable, then back up, then back down again at 7:57am and is still down. This outage is not affecting calls. The emergency contact information I have isn't reaching anyone. Does anyone have a method to reach Vitelity in an outage? TRS service in Michigan

In Michigan, AT&T is withdrawing TRS service as an offering early next year. Each provider will be responsible to make their own arrangements for TRS. Establishing a direct agreement with one of the national TRS providers seems to be quite expensive. Is anyone able to offer this service to us ?
