Has anyone here been able to configure Mediant 2k to send "Calling Party Name" in the ISUP message to the connected ISDN device (in this case an Avaya PBX). This is an IP->Tel call, not a Tel->IP. The SIP UA is a Broadworks platform. PW call failures, outage?

I have multiple reports from customers with problems using PacWest -- they're getting an intercept recording of "all circuits busy" albeit on only a handful of destinations, which then quickly transitions to "fixed," by which they mean if you wait through 4-9 seconds of post-dial delay the call completes. Start time of 10:00 am PST, still going on. PRI Termination device

I am looking for suggestions for a device to terminate some PRIs. We are looking to bring in two PRIs from a vendor, and want to provide another PRI out to an on-premise device and attach to our VoIP solution over SIP. Are there any devices that accomplish all of these at the same time? - At least 4 PRI ports - Act as Network and User - SIP Gateway Thanks! -Jonathan

Bring Your Own Bandwidth/Network

Hi, What's your experience with offering VOIP to business customers in a Bring Your Own Bandwidth/Network environment? It's one thing to run VOIP over a qos-enabled network with a known bandwidth and gear that you control, and quite another to run VOIP over whatever network the customer wants to buy and whatever random gear was on sale at OfficeMax. Have you run VOIP over both types of networks? Thanks, David

IPV6

Why don't you take an IPv6 address and convert it to dotted octets, then come back and report on how unweildy that is to deal with.
