We've got calls failing from T-Mobile customers to our DIDs held by Level3 and are having a lot of trouble finding a resolution through either carrier's support channel. Is there someone equipped to assist with this?

Old PA System setup

Hey guys, https://www.valcom.com/pdf/v1030c_v1036c.pdf We're trying to find the best way to interface 3 old Valcom speakers V-1030c to an IP paging system. I have a Snom PA1 but that won't work as we initially thought because speakers need 4 wires on a 24v power system. So 2 wires are for 24v power, and the other 2 are for audio. The snom only has a positive and negative output that feeds passive speakers, not active speakers like these. What is the best way to utilize these 3 speakers or should we just replace the speakers? We're trying to keep budget to a minimum for them so we would prefer to utilize the same speakers but what's the best way to power them and feed them audio using the existing 2-pair RJ11 cable they use? Port to a fax platform

Hey all, We typically use Vitelity vFax for porting over fax numbers and use their Fax Enable device which seems to work well. We ran into a ratecenter that they say doesn't work for vFax. Are there any other providers you recommend checking with who offer a Fax ATA use the TLS or HTTP method so it's not actually using Voip for the fax connection? I really need to port this number to a fax provider and something we can still support. Toll Free and Local TNs Porting from Charter

Hi all, Wondering if anyone has experienced the following behavior. I attempted to port both Local and Toll Free TNs from Charter, on the same day, to my usual carrier, and was advised by my carrier that Charter uses a unified system for local and TF ports, and that due to this creating an issue where a pending order would be created on the single account by virtue of dual ports, the ports could not be completed on the same day. My carrier advises most other losing providers treat local and toll free TNs in totally different systems, so this issue only affects Charter numbers. Has anyone experienced the same porting local and toll free numbers from Charter? Thanks for any input. Mark

International call "looping" post-call?

A customer came to me with a somewhat strange problem. He reports they'll be on a phone call to Jamaica (or other World Zone 1 / International destination). The called party will end the call... and he'll report hearing the last 15-30'ish seconds of the conversation "looped". It almost sounds like someone's maybe doing TCP on the RTP, and something screwy going on with the packetization. Anyone else heard of this or have a theory? Thanks! Mark

Verizon Wireless Static

Have you been able to listen to sample calls containing the static described by your customer? Another potential cause, in addition to the obvious RF signal strength, could be clock slips. This is a phenomenon being derived from the wireline network rather than the radio network? and is pretty constant and loud when it happens. We have a pattern of calls coming into us, the caller hears static to the point where they can barely hear our customer. Our customer doesn't hear anything wrong. Outbound calls to Verizon Wireless are fine and there aren't any other known networks having static issues. We get our calls from the local tandem ran by Frontier.
